The City Of Jacksonville provides its employees to access the city's computer network from anywhere with Internet via a Citrix system. The Citrix system allows any employees to use most standard applications, use MS Outlook e-mail and calendar. The system is also meant to increase security as traffic is still routed through firewalls and filters.
If you are an employee, you would be assigned a username and password. Then go to
remote.coj.net and then you have to download a client if your PC is not already installed with it. Once you download the client, you will have icons on the desktop and you can double click on the icon to start accessing the applications at
remote.coj.net.
