www.GovBenefits.gov is website that people can use to make informed decisions on government benefits and assistance program by providing a website to search for 1,000 such programs. You can search for government benefits for low income people, single mothers, seniors, unemployed, native americans and many others.

One useful feature under the Benefits tab is the questionaire. By completing the answers to a list of questions, the system is able to determine the list of benefit programs that you are most eligible for based on your date of birth, state you live in, gender and whether you are receiving any current benefits such as food stamps, medicaid, Federal pell grant and others. You can also search for programs based on categories of interest and the type of benefits. This site is very similar to Healthcare.gov that keeps people informed of their options in health insurance and allows them to search for health insurance benefits information.
